Good morning, good afternoon, good evening...wherever in the world you live! I hear you're a chocoholic too - I won't tell a soul! Chocolate is good for the body - and God's Word is good for the soul: "O taste and see that the Lord is good...(Psalm 34:8 KJV)." So please join me for a few moments of fun, food and inspiration - it's all calorie-free (believe that and I'll sell you the Brooklyn Bridge) and might even make your day!

"God and the Growing Fraternity of the Facebook Phenomenon!"

Daily Manna's Bible reading: Genesis 12:1-3 (NIV)

Ever check it out? FACEBOOK, that is, the social, "fraternizing" network for teens and college kids.....I did one day, and to my sons' great amusement and dismay (Jason wrote me, "Oh, no, what has the world become!!), Facebook grew one more: MAMA JOINED - a phenomenon of itself, a creation of fun 'n faith by a ("phenomenal!?!) Mom who barely knows what she is doing, but is having the "funnest" time of her life!

Well, for cryin' out loud, what's that got to do with "all peoples of the earth" in today's Bible reading?? Hey, they're all there and everywhere in the wacky, wonderful world of cyberspace - the people of the earth - all races, ages, sizes, shapes and levels of mental and moral intelligence - the good, the bad and the ugly....

So what?? Do we, Christians of this earth, moan, groan and watch our world go to hell in a hi-tech basket? No, a thousand times no! It's but another means of reaching people with the Good News of God's Grace. Add to it the tubing tech and the iPod deck, the Web site space and the blogging place, and you've got your crowd....

....and HIS command, "Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel to EVERY creature...." - and "I will be with you to the END of the world!" Until then, let it be our duty and our delight to take His love to a very needy world - using any hi-tech means at our disposal.....a mouse and a mission - for Him!

Now believe it, do it, be a phenomenal Christian in cyberspace - I dare you - and you will have a wonderful, choco-rich, tech-challenged, God-pleasing, earth-moving day!
