Good morning, good afternoon, good evening...wherever in the world you live! I hear you're a chocoholic too - I won't tell a soul! Chocolate is good for the body - and God's Word is good for the soul: "O taste and see that the Lord is good...(Psalm 34:8 KJV)." So please join me for a few moments of fun, food and inspiration - it's all calorie-free (believe that and I'll sell you the Brooklyn Bridge) and might even make your day!

Remember watching--and recording--the first steps of your first child, and whomever else followed in his footsteps? A proud moment in history we love to recall...but walk-through-history takes place at each inauguration of a new president of the United States.

Our seniors love to recall and recite the details of the many inaugurations they have watched...and why not! Next inauguration, whether it's a "king" or a "queen," I plan to be there, via TV, of course! Life and the laundry can wait...it's HISTORY, no matter what political party affiliation, and I will walk through it each inauguration I'm around with great emotion and pride. I am a citizen of the United States of America--and that's how it should be!

I'm a citizen of another country too--a land "beyond the blue" where sits the One I have crowned King of my life. I walk through the pages of His Word and find the "seniors"--their wonderful stories are recorded for us there. Now they watch from the balconies of heaven as WE walk through the many mazes of life. They cheer us on in this "walk for life"--it's a walk--AND a race--that by God's grace we are going to win!

You may not go down in history as one who walked Pennsylvania Avenue to be sworn in as the "king" or the "queen" - OK, stop the pageantry - no kings or queens here - it will be "Mr." or "Mrs." (!?!) President of the United States...but all humor aside, you can walk today in the shadow of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. So hold up your head proudly, walk with true statesmanship--you will someday rule and reign with the Highest in the Land...the eternal Land of God where the Light never ceases to shine....and it will shine in our pathway TODAY as we walk with our King here on earth--WHEREVER on Planet Earth we may live.

Now get on your walkin' shoes, your joggin' shoes, your tennis shoes--whatever--history's being made: we are WALKING WITH THE KING! Believe it and have a great week!
