Good morning, good afternoon, good evening...wherever in the world you live! I hear you're a chocoholic too - I won't tell a soul! Chocolate is good for the body - and God's Word is good for the soul: "O taste and see that the Lord is good...(Psalm 34:8 KJV)." So please join me for a few moments of fun, food and inspiration - it's all calorie-free (believe that and I'll sell you the Brooklyn Bridge) and might even make your day!

"Who's Pullin' the Wool over Your Eyes!?!"

Someone is trying to pull the wool over your eyes - and it's not the Good Shepherd! Read on....

"Little Bo Peep" - She's "lost her sheep and doesn't know where to find them; leave them alone and they'll come home......." - you can fill in the rest from your long-gone nursery rhyme days.....my dyed-in-the-wool delight in the fun and puns of life should really kick in today!

The Good Shepherd I know and love doesn't ever leave one sheep alone to find its own way home - even YOU are the lovely, little lost lamb that He, the Good Shepherd came for....Our Lord loves strays - and if you have one in your family, know that He, who designed the sheep, has come to seek and to save the lost, bringing them back into the fold. Don't give up and don't listen to the devil's lies. We've a Shepherd Divine who died for every lamb - inside and outside the fold. He cares!

Little Bo Peep may be dead and gone, tucked away in the memories of our childhood - perhaps revived long enough to raise our kids and grandkids - but she's a fairy tale, a delightful whim of someone's creative imagination. Our Lord is NOT - He is the Shepherd of our souls; He finds us and robes us in the awesome robes of His righteousness; He loves us - and our loved ones - more than we will ever know or understand.

Don't let anyone, including the devil, pull the wool over your eyes! He would blind you to the truth of God's Word and to the Shepherd's love and concern for us all. He loves YOU and He loves that loved one that's lost. You can believe it, receive it, know He is the Good Shepherd and knows how to take care of ALL the sheep - including you and yours!!
