Reclining by the hour with a fractured ankle can put a person's brain into overload and as you can see, I know about it "first-hand," or should we say, "first-foot"!! OK, it's a huge "walker-boot" - you can call me "Bigfoot!" I'm actually walking - or limping - carefully, and with the Lord's presence and healing in my life. So take a "Peggie Break" with me, let's all walk with Him and see what we can learn about brokenness in the Bible. We'll find no broken ankles and no danger of one, but sometimes life is broken and there's no cure BUT in the Bible......read on.......
Break-ups: they happen and they're not fun.....People break up - families, friends, couples, business relationships. We've probably all been there at one time, in one way or another...and what to do? Walk through God's Word; learn of role models who have also been there/done that - and survived, with the grace and goodness of God through it all. You see, there IS a purpose in it all, for even when the devil caused it, God can bring good out of it. Remember that, trust Him - Your Redeemer can restore and redeem what no other can do. He was broken for YOU and He brings wholeness and healing to your life this day!
Break-downs: they happen and they're not fun either. People of all sizes, shapes, colors and creeds - including you and me - sometimes find ourselves in emotional and even mental turmoil. The trials and tests of life can take a real toll on us all, Christians included......and what to do?? Walk through God's Word; we read about heroes of the faith who also went through the fire - and survived - and so can we. God's grace is sufficient to handle any break-down you are experiencing right now; let His Word become your strength and stability in those broken-down spirit, soul and body times. It's for real and it works!
Break-up? Break-down? Don't despair - there's a BREAK-THROUGH for you....it's found in a personal, intimate relationship with the Son of God, broken that you might be healed.....Remember, He never wastes pain - be still and hear HIM say, "I spared you no pain that I might use you to heal!" Now believe it, go to the Healer of all things broken in your life right now. Start walking through God's Word - take a BIBLE BREAK, be whole in Jesus' Name and have a wonderful day!!
