Now that's crazy--but not when you have a home on the World Wide Web! There's room for thousands--little people, big people, short people, tall people, fat people, skinny people, smart people, not-so-smart people--all kinds of people...and they're on MY front porch!
You see, this week, we reached a milestone at Peggie's Place--5,000 subscribers to the Fun 'n Faith newsletter, begun a year ago, and to God's glory, now reaching around the world with God's love. I love people--but God loves them more--and brings them to Peggie's Place to find HIS love, joy and peace--that's what it's all about! (Note: The newsletter has now merged with Fun 'n Faith for the Soul blog.)
They showed up on "HIS front lawn" one day...and on a hillside long ago, Jesus taught them and FED them all...a miracle of a little boy and his lunch. He gave it to Jesus and He multiplied it so there was food for all. And now, He's taken THIS little girl's lunch, given to Him years ago, blessed it and multiplied it to feed a needy world. What an awesome God we serve!
Now please understand that I am not about to feed you all...with earthly food, that is! Not enough pasta, pizza--and chocolate--to go around! But there's plenty of heavenly food here...food for the spirit and the soul, food that fills--and lasts--and it's free!
Are you standing on the front porch today--guilty about the past, stressed about the present, fearful of the future? Well, make way--for the "REAL Host" in the center of us all stands ready and willing to meet all our needs...He is Lord of this home...and for all He has done and is yet to do, I give Him praise!
Update: The newsletter has moved to a new blog format: Fun 'n Faith for the Soul, and is a continuing extension of the ministry of Peggie's Place on the Web!
