If you know Peggie well enough, you know that she is a lover of food, a lover of chocolate (that's NOT food....grin!!), and a lover of the ocean! Well, the Lord is about to bless my socks off 'cause I am headed this week for Pennsylvania, New Jersey--family, friends and the sea, more specifically, the Atlantic Ocean!
And SO are you--for each day while I am gone, I will provide links for you to enjoy, so don't leave me! Please check back every day--especially if you are an ocean-lover like me--and don't you dare peek ahead! I hope you'll enjoy the devotional links--and the fun links I have prepared for you!
And now--of course, there has to be a devotional in ALL of this...and there is. You see, I know Someone else who went away and walked by the sea - He said, "I will not leave you comfortless; I will come to you" and He did, with the faithful Holy Spirit who resides and abides within us. He helps us, he assures us, He loves us, He guides us, He points us to the One who died for us, Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord.
And so, you are not alone! Oh, I can leave you and you'll get along just fine--but Jesus?? No way--we need Him every day, and though He is not physically present on earth, He intercedes for us in heaven above, He's promised never to leave nor forsake us, and He's given us His blessed Holy Spirit as Comforter, Guide and Friend. We are not alone--ever! Now remember that--and have a good week. I will be back in the office on Tuesday, June 10; the Boosters will return to "normal," whatever that is, on Wednesday, June 12.
