Since putting the first devotional on the Web, there's been alot of fun at Peggie's Place--kind friends trying to find me a broom--Barb found me one; Julie found a great BIG one; and my good friend Menno from the Netherlands actually made me the COOL broom closet on this page. Thanks, guys, for broomin' for a gal in distress!
One thing we've learned through all this fun--NO broom will oust an enemy called Satan out of our lives. We need MORE than a broom--we need the SWORD* of the Spirit, God's Word. It's a true and effective tool against the enemy of our souls.
So next time the devil hits you with an accusation, a threat, a temptation, forget the broom closet--go straight to the CHRISTIAN ARMOR ROOM (see below), pick up the Sword of the Spirit, His Mighty Word, and see the devil fly. He's not afraid of brooms--he IS afraid of God's Word. We wield that Sword against Him in the Name of the Lord. For He is LORD, at Peggie's Place, and at YOUR place, wherever in the world you may be!
