on Tuesday, September 11, 2001:
"Where is God in all this? The crushing magnitude of this tragedy has sent
this question across a broken and bleeding nation. Without sidestepping
hard questions or slipping into pat answers, we've been suddenly called by
God to offer comfort, solace, encouragement, and hope to those we know and
love. We pray that God will provide His grace and mercy to all those whose
lives and families have been devastated by these acts of terrorism."
