Ever been there? Don't wanna go there again?!! Sometimes life puts us smack in the middle of mountains/rocks too heavy to move, too big to jump over, and much too hard to handle! As M. Scott Peck once said, "Life is difficult." End of sentence - he could not have said it better!

In hard times and hard places, what do we do? Cave in? Crumble under? Cry? Maybe all three, depending on which day of the week you ask - for you see, we're all human. We think, we feel, we worry, we crash - sinners and saints alike!

But wait a minute. All is not lost. The Christian has a source, an anchor, a ROCK, the Rock of Ages, and on it we stand. Come storms and wild sea, come hard places and heavy pain, we can pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and STAND - on the Rock Christ Jesus!

He's weathered the storm before us; He's conquered the foe - and when all else fails, HE remains. His Word remains, His Truth remains, His faithfulness never fails. He is GOD and He is OUR God!

Between a rock 'n a hard place today? Rely on Christ this day - lean on the Rock, stand on the Rock, READ what the Rock says - and know that the Almighty, Powerful God is YOUR Lord and YOUR God. You can make it - between that rock and a hard place, you'll find your Lord, waiting to comfort, strengthen, rescue and bring you through that hard place today!
