"Throw in the Towel...or Let the Love Endure!?!"
Enduring love? "Oh, sure," the hurting parent cries. I raise him, I feed him, I clothe him - and he's slammed the door in my face. A rift in our relationship that looks impossible to mend." So much for enduring love!
We live in a sick world; a world where commitments mean nothing, where character and integrity fly out the window, replaced by greed, lust, disrespect and sin. Is there NO ONE to love me FOREVER? Is it all a fairy tale with an unhappy ending? How cruel can God be!
No, God's not cruel - man (and woman) can be--and we can come to believe that nothing lasts. Well, we're wrong - for God's love endures - it lasts forever. Whatever's happened, He knows and He cares. His love endures to the very end - and HE will see you through.
Feel like throwing in the towel of life and love? Don't! Remember, your Lord picked UP the towel and used it to serve! Rely on HIS enduring, serving love. He will give you the grace you need to pick up the pieces and go on! He'll even give you a towel to serve and love once again! Believe it, receive it and you wlll have a God-filled, choco-covered day!

"Jesus .Ê.Ê. riseth from supper, and laid aside his garments; and took a towel, and girded himself. After that he poureth water into a bason, and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded (John 13:3-5 KJV)."

Enduring love? "What a joke," the brokenhearted bride says. Six months or six years into the marriage and he's gone. So much for "enduring love!"

Please note that while I strongly adhere to major tenets of the evangelical Christian faith, I may not personally agree with every specific doctrinal belief set forth in other Christian pages. I do want to provide a diversity of links and resource material for the entire Body of Christ to enjoy, and trust you will view it as such.
A safety tip: Internet links and material may include other links and/or material which do not reflect my Christian views or yours. Please choose wisely and use with discretion! And if you find an ugly spider hiding in a dark corner, you may smash it with a broom from my BROOM CLOSET--I hate offensive stuff too!
