Prosperity: what is it? Money in the bank? Travel on the seas? Clothes on the back? Homes, cars, diamonds, gold, goods, goods - and MORE goods??

Lord, help us - it's all STUFF in God's eyes - the never-lasting, the non-eternal, the never-enough! And - no matter how impoverished we may feel, there are millions of others on this planet who would consider any one of our home a palace; any one of our wardrobes, a department store; any one of our full refrigerators, a supermarket. We honestly have so much stuff, more than we will ever need!

But what about the stuff of LIFE? Now admit it, we've all got more of that than we'll ever need. Stop the world and we'll jump off! There's the daily stuff, the weekly schedule, the monthly budget, the overflowing bills cubby-hole and the "not-enough-stuff-in-wallet" syndrome most of us face.

Forget the finances and the money "stuff" - it pales with the "emotional stuff" we face in life. Sickness, sorrow, broken hearts, crisis after crisis - and the stuff becomes monumental, looming large in the stressed-out, stuffed-full lives we lead.

So what do we do with all the STUFF? For one thing, we can clean our closet and de-clutter our homes - give it to GoodWill and bless someone in need! But beyond the practical lies the spiritual, the stuff residing in our hearts, our souls, our minds, our spirits - the stuff you can't touch but you sure do feel! What to do with THAT!?!

Bundle it all up in a prayer of surrender......Give it to God who loves it when we give him our "stuff" - He's been waiting to receive it for a LONG time.........So, Lord, here it is! We give you the stuff overflowing in our hearts, minds, souls and spirits. De-clutter our hearts today and then fill the empty spaces with Your love, Your joy and Your peace.....the REAL STUFF of a life lived in Christ that we can find in no other place!

Stuff!

Every fall I start stirring in my stuff. There is closet ,drawer.attic and basement stuff. I seperate the good stuff from the bad stuff, then I stuff the bad stuff anywhere the stuff is not too crowded until I decide if I need the bad stuff.

When the Lord calls me home, my children will want the good stuff, bu the bad stuff, stuffed wherever there is room among all the other stuff, will be stuffed in bags and taken to the dump where all the other people's stuff has been taken.

This fall I had an extra closet built so I would have a place for all the stuff too good to throw away and too bad to keep with my good stuff. You may not have this problem, but I seem to spend a lot of time with stuff......food, cleaning, medicine, clothes and outside stuff. Whatever would life be like if we didn't have all this stuff?

Now there is all that stuff we use to make us smell better, stuff to make our hair look good. Stuff to make us look younger....healthier, stuff to hold us in, and stuff to fill us out! There is stuff to read, play with, entertain us, and stuff to eat. We stuff ourselves with food stuff.

Well, our lives are filled with stuff...good stuff, bad stuff, little stuff, big stuff useful stuff, junky stuff, and everyone's stuff.

Now when we leave all our stuff and go to heaven, whatever happens to our stuff won't matter. We will still have the good stuff God has prepared for us in heaven!!!!
