Down the Path to the Well--a thought to remember along the way
All sorts of strange creatures seem to crop up in these devotionals--today's strange character is a talking donkey! You see, He can find incredible ways to grab our attention, especially when we're out of His perfect will! Balaam WAS--read the very unusual Balaam story later (see link below)--but suffice it to say that a prophet of God, out of God's perfect Will, is in big trouble! God used a donkey to speak to Balaam--AND teach him a lesson. Is there a lesson here for us too? You better believe it, for...
If God can make a donkey talk...
He can do anything!
He can use anyone!

He knows how to talk to YOU!
He's a God of the impossible, the improbable and the imperceptible--He's bigger than us, and He knows HOW to get His message across! So--don't ever say, "He can't do it, He can't use me, and He can't speak"--ask Baalam, ask the donkey--believe for the impossible, the improbable and the imperceptible; obey His Will, whatever it is--and have a wonderful day!
Delight in a Word from the Well--a refreshing in the Water of His Word

"Lord, sometimes I can be pretty stubborn and would rather walk in MY way than YOURS. God, I want to be a fully surrendered believer--a REAL one--who can believe You and obey You for anything You've got planned for my life, no matter how impossible, improbable or imperceptible it may be. Lord, I believe--help Thou mine unbelief, In Jesus' Name, Amen."
