Down the Path to the Well--a thought to remember along the way
It's Done!
Oh, I know--your tree's not untrimmed YET, your house isn't cleaned YET, your Christmas bills aren't paid YET, your diet's not begun YET--but "It's DONE!" HUH? What is "done"?
Why, your salvation! It was DONE two thousand years ago--it's paid for, settled, accomplished, resolved--and you are reconciled, redeemed, re-born--all because you have chosen Christ to be your Savior and Lord!
So--Happy New Year--and remember, you're going to make it in the coming year. Why? Because God is WITH you, FOR you, IN you--and IT IS DONE! Now believe it--have a great day--go find yourself the last piece of that AWESOME FUDGE (see below)--and have a very Happy New Year!!
Delight in a Word from the Well--a refreshing in the Water of His Word
"...for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, "The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me (Hebrews 13:5,6)."
Draw from the Well--a prayer for renewing strength for this day
"Lord, thank You for bringing me through this past year. I now look forward to a brand new year. I know not what it holds--but I know I need not worry for "it's done"--the work of Calvary is complete--and YOU will be with me, in me, and for me, every day of 2001, and every day of my life. Thank You for Your ever-abiding presence and power, In Jesus' Name, Amen."
