The Fix-It Man!
One of my husband's favorite cartoons depicts Dennis the Menace dejectedly telling someone, "I come from a broken home.....pause....I broke most of it myself!" If you live with kids, you know exactly what Charlie's talking about, and it's those kind of times when a "fix-it" man sure comes in handy!
Ever try to get one? It can be a real hassle, as I found out, but we finally hooked up with a good "fix-it man" and got on the road to getting some much-needed projects fixed....in the HOUSE, that is. For you see, there are some fix-it projects in life that no human "fix-it man" can ever fix--broken hearts, battered minds, fractured egos, damaged souls. That's where the HEAVENLY Workman comes in--He made us and He knows how to fix us! Thank God for sending Jesus to our world to "fix" all the "stuff" that no fix-it man on earth could ever do!
Got a repair job for Him today? He's available, always on call, never busy--and doesn't charge a dime. His love, grace, mercy and forgiveness are free today--and every day. Believe it, and have a great day!
Delight in a Word from the Well--a refreshing in the Water of His Word

Draw from the Well--a prayer for renewing strength for this day
"Lord, my life is is in desperate need of a "fix-it man" today....and I know You are available! You can fix what's wrong in my life, put back together the broken pieces and restore to me the joy of my salvation better than any repair man I know. Thank You, Lord, for being the "fixer-upper" of my life--I need your expert workmanship daily! In Jesus' Name, Amen."
