"A merry heart doeth good like a medicine... (Proverbs 17:22)." The Perfect Story There was a perfect man who met a perfect woman. After a perfect courtship, they had a perfect wedding. Their life together was, of course, perfect. One snowy, stormy Christmas Eve this perfect couple was driving along a winding road when they noticed someone at the roadside in distress. Being the perfect couple, they stopped to help. There stood Santa Claus with a huge bundle of toys. Not wanting to disappoint any children on the eve of Christmas, the perfect couple loaded Santa and his toys into their vehicle. Soon they were driving along delivering the toys. Unfortunately, the driving conditions deteriorated and the perfect couple and Santa Claus had an accident. Only one of them survived the accident. Who was the survivor?
Answer:
The perfect woman. She's the only one that really existed in the first place. Everyone knows there is no Santa Claus and there is no such thing as a perfect man.
A Male's Response:
So, if there is no perfect man and no Santa Claus, the perfect woman must have been driving. This explains why there was a car accident.

"I Cried Again Last Night"
Personal reflections from Steve Ltra Executive Director, Prayer Transformation Ministries
Special to ASSIST News Service
MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA (ANS) -- I cried again last night. I cried as I watched Dateline NBC's program on the "No Greater Love: The Story of Flight 93."I cried as I watched the faces of ordinary men and women who lost their lives in a senseless act of evil. I cried as I heard the stories of how these ordinary men and women were thrust into extraordinary circumstances through no choosing of their own.
I cried as I heard of the heroism from these people just like us who saved the lives of hundreds, and perhaps thousands of lives by preventing that jet from reaching its target.
I cried. I cried as I heard the words of Jane Pauley as she said that these people, "They understood the danger ahead, and they went out to meet it" I cried as I thought of the Church, and wondered if we really understand the danger ahead of us and were willing to go out to meet it.
We are so easily lulled back into our comfort when the "high" of circumstances passes by us. Are we ready to give our lives for the sake of the Gospel in our days? Are we ready to keep pressing in with our prayers until God breaks through in revival and transformation? Or will we weary of the effort and give up a the "two yard line."
Are we ready to rally together, and put aside our divisions for the sake of a society that needs to see John 17 fleshed out before their eyes? Will our churches and our lives go back to "business as usual" in a few short weeks? Will be continue to be absorbed in our own issues and not know how to die daily for the sake of others?
I did not know the answer, and I cried again last night.
