It was Friday in our world and getting worse....a dark world crucified Christ, mocked His followers and rejected His message.
It's Friday again. Darkness reigns.....or DOES it? Watch out, devil....you tried it once 2000 years ago; you killed the Lord of glory, so you thought.....dark and doom won, so you thought.....the deed was done and it was over, SO YOU THOUGHT!
Well, think AGAIN, king of darkness! You attempt to reign with terror, crime, immorality, drugs, sexual predators, and just plain ole' sin....but the end is not yet!
On that Good Friday, YOU did not take His life. Jesus, Son of God, gave His life freely for a sinful world - and it was NOT OVER. On Sunday, the first day of the week, Christ arose in splendor, majesty and glory as King of Kings and Lord of Lords forevermore.
It's only FRIDAY, devil, and your so-called "reign" over this world is about over. A glorious Sunday is soon to burst on this old world and break your evil hold, for someday soon the King you crucified is coming again. The dead will be raised, those alive will meet them and HIM in the air forever to be with our Lord.
Did you hear it, serpent in the Garden, devil of this world? Our Lord, the Mighty Conquering King, is coming to take us home and to cast you out! Believe it, ole' slewfoot, and have a terrible day!!
Take courage, child of God. Let's celebrate the Second Coming of Jesus Christ - Sunday's a'comin' soon - and we'll be out of here! Believe it, proclaim it, and have a wonderful day!!
