I'll wait a minute so you can find YOUR keys--if you're like me, you've lost your car keys, or your home keys, or who-knows-what keys, and have NO idea where you've left them!
There IS one key I value above any other. It's the master key to my life--everything I am and hope to be--and it's held by the Lord Jesus Christ. It's secure in His hand, and that's where I want it to be--especially a key-loser like me!
I entered the door of life at an early age....Seriously, I was born into a wonderful Christian family and matured under the watchful eyes of godly Christian parents. Dad was a preacher; Mom was, too, and usually did her preaching behind the kitchen stove! I learned Bible stories, Bible verses, and songs at an early age and practically grew up on the front church pew.
I value my strong, Christian upbringing. But that was not enough. I learned that this way of life introduced to me by my parents is more than a religion. It is a relationship with a Friend, Jesus Christ. At an early moment in my life, I chose to receive Him personally as my Savior.
As a teen, I opened the door a little wider. I made Him the Lord of my life. His Lordship brought me divine guidance through decision-making times at school, into a career, and then marriage, a family, and Christian service.
This Master Keeper of the Keys opens doors to surprising joys; sometimes He closes other doors in His perfect Will. When He is in control, there is love, joy, and peace I could never find on my own. There's joy in living; there's joy in giving, when He's the Keeper of the keys! Problems? Sure--that's life! But I have a Friend to walk with me through those difficult times. He gives strength, courage, and His wonderful Word.
Do I recommend Him to you? Yes! I'm glad you visited my place, because I know you came, not by accident, but by divine appointment. The Master loves you. He knocks at the door of YOUR place, and waits for you to open the door and give Him the Master key. Won't you do it now?
