Good morning, good afternoon, good evening...wherever in the world you live! I hear you're a chocoholic too - I won't tell a soul! Chocolate is good for the body - and God's Word is good for the soul: "O taste and see that the Lord is good...(Psalm 34:8 KJV)." So please join me for a few moments of fun, food and inspiration - it's all calorie-free (believe that and I'll sell you the Brooklyn Bridge) and might even make your day!

Years ago, "To Tell the Truth," a TV game show, introduced three contestants, one of which had an off-beat occupation. The object was to eliminate the two fakers and decide who was really telling the truth, with the real person standing up to reveal his true self. A fun show as you sat at home also trying to guess who would stand up to reveal he was the one REALLY telling the truth!

Well, it became "back to the future," for in more recent years, a contestant from the popular "Survivors" TV show, unashamedly "stood up" for Christ. Contestants were allowed to bring one treasure with them onto the island--Derk Bean, a Christian, brought his Bible. While there, he had great Christian influence on the other islanders. Unfortunately, he was the fifth contestant to be voted off the island, so he was not a REAL "Survivor"--or was he??

Derk Bean was a glorious "stand-up" testimony to his faith in Christ and would do it again if given the opportunity! He may not have won the million dollars on the show--but he's a REAL survivor in my book!

We are real survivors too--we stand, gird in the armor of the Lord, as "more than conquerors through Him who loved us!" And wherever we stand, whether it's an island on a game show, the workplace, the home or the church--it's "holy ground"--for "where HE is present, it's holy!" We WILL survive life's difficulties, we WILL proclaim our faith in Him--and we WILL stand as REAL SURVIVORS by His grace.

Believe it--unashamedly STAND UP FOR JESUS--and have a great day--for HE stands with you and you WILL survive!
