Good morning, good afternoon, good evening...wherever in the world you live! I hear you're a chocoholic too - I won't tell a soul! Chocolate is good for the body - and God's Word is good for the soul: "O taste and see that the Lord is good...(Psalm 34:8 KJV)." So please join me for a few moments of fun, food and inspiration - it's all calorie-free (believe that and I'll sell you the Brooklyn Bridge) and might even make your day!

"Turkey Talk: What to Do When You're Blue!"

Daily Manna's Bible reading: Psalm 128:1-8 . . . 1 Peter 5:6,7 (NIV)

No, No, your TURKEY'S not blue - if it is, you're in trouble....I'm talkin' YOU--and you and I are going to talk turkey - right now! Turkey, you get to live on for a few more frozen days - then it's your turn!

OK - so it's Thanksgiving time in the USA.....the cooks and homemakers are busier than a barrel of monkeys and they're "talking turkey" - what to serve, when to buy, how to handle the relatives, keep the peace and pass the turkey, all in one glorious Thanksgiving weekend.

SO - let's talk turkey! It's holiday time and you are hurting - physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually - for whatever reason, it's not fun and you need help! Where to turn??

"I lift up my eyes to the hills--where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth (Psalm 121:1 NIV)."

This Lord, who made the heavens and the earth, is YOUR God - when you're up, when you're down, when you're in, when you're out - that's just plain "turkey talk" from one turkey to another! Been there/done that - been blue, just like you......and GOD is our refuge, "a very present help in trouble." He brings joy in the morning and gives grace and more grace to a hurting heart - just when you need it most.

Won't you lean on Him today, look into His Word, let it sink deep into your heart - "be anxious for NOTHING" - and let the Lord handle the discouragements, heartaches, problems and pain. When you're blue, HE will do - "exceedingly abundantly above all you can ask or think." Let Him hold you and heal you this day - and look forward to a Thanksgiving that's "out of the blues" 'cause He is there - and He loves you so much.

Believe it, receive it and have a wonderful week-before-Thanksgiving, CHOCO-RICH Day!
