Good morning, good afternoon, good evening...wherever in the world you live! I hear you're a chocoholic too - I won't tell a soul! Chocolate is good for the body - and God's Word is good for the soul: "O taste and see that the Lord is good...(Psalm 34:8 KJV)." So please join me for a few moments of fun, food and inspiration - it's all calorie-free (believe that and I'll sell you the Brooklyn Bridge) and might even make your day!

Today's Chocolate Chew: Roll Model Mama....!?!

Mama's not making bread this morning....hopefully, you're serving her breakfast in bed - for it's Mother's Day weekend and that's what kids are supposed to do, right? I remember two little boys, long ago, serving "breakfast in bed" to me - it was remarkable, memorable and amusing, as any little boys' culinary skills would be!
Mama's the real "roll model" - the one who feeds, teaches, trains, scolds, spanks, loves, hugs and handles all persons, all issues, all bruises, hurts, fevers and fights....doesn't matter if she has a few "rolls" here and there, figure-wise, or if she bakes bread really good, baker-wise - she's Mama - and we love and honor her.
Mama's got a real "Role Model" and you can guess who He is, for Mama has learned sacrifice and service from the One who displayed it in life, in death, and forevermore. He died to save us and lives to serve us - something a real Mom would do for any kid.....
So, Mama, roll over this morning and sleep a few extra winks. It's a one-day-break from sacrifice and service. You're really due a lot more than that...and in our hearts, we know you'll never stop loving us! You're there to sacrifice and serve - all the time - just like your Lord.....we love you, Mama...skip the rolls today.....roll over and enjoy the rest. You are the Queen today - and every day!!
